Getting the Water, Batteries, and Solar Hooked Up and Checked

So yesterday was get ready to go day, along with the prior day, and the prior day, etc.

Installing the two 6v Trojan Golf Cart batteries, which are heavy as heck, is a chore at best. I had to put the battery box on the tongue, grab the strap and hook up a battery, hoist it up and over the weight bars adjustment towers and maneuver into the box.  After that, do it again.

After hooking up all the loose wires from the solar set up, I flipped the switch and watched as the meter came to life and shortly started showing amps and volts going into my batteries. SUCCESS for sure.

Boone KOA, App State Football game and Parents Weekend..

The Virginia Beach KOA was well equipped  to keep kids and adults alike happy with several nice pools, play equipment area, some neat looking cabins you can rent, along with all the other stuff they provide.

Next Stop … KOA in Virginia Beach

So after a really fun week at the International Airstream Rally in Doswell, we traveled down to Virginia Beach to spend the week in town and visit some old friends and former neighbors, Joe and Eloise, and their daughter Catherine, who is around the age of our girls.

The KOA is a nice park close to the beach front area.
